Reclaim to Recycle Initiative
As standard, we offer to demount, strip, reclaim and recycle 100% of used and waste aluminium, steel and glass product from sites for the material to be recycled and repurposed.
In 2024, the following quantities were recycled to ensure materials avoided landfill by either being recycled or produced into heat and electricity. Through delivering more of the Reclaim to Recycle initiative, we are excited to see these figures grow, year on year.
What happens to our materials once recycled?
UK Closed-Loop Recycling Scheme
At Komfort, we uphold a core commitment to environmental stewardship through our robust closed-loop recycling scheme for all aluminum components. We are exceptionally proud that every piece of aluminum is carefully collected, responsibly smelted and recycled back into the UK market. This system significantly minimises waste, reduces the reliance on primary resources, and is a clear demonstration of our dedication to a circular economy within the manufacturing sector.

Client Brief: The previous glazing and door systems were removed from site to satisfy sustainability objectives and facilitate the implementation of a new layout design under the terms of the new lease.
Scope of works: 90 panels, 11 doors, 200no length of aluminium profiles were dismantled, stripped, reclaimed and recycled by our team.
Completed within 4 days.
